The programmes for 1930-31 also reflect the popularity of swimming within the local area with swimmers listed in the Open Handicap races from Holbeck, Hunslet, Selby, Skipton, Dewsbury, Bramley, Bradford Dolphins and other clubs.Each entrant will have paid an entry fee to compete for such prizes as in 1930, 1st - A tea set, 2nd - A set of carvers, 3rd - A glass biscuit barrel. In 1931 the prizes included 1st - A tea set, 2nd - Barometer Hall set, 3rd - A clock. The price of all programmes prior to the war was
